Getting started

I have 2 years of Oscar/cichlid keeping and interested in discus. I will be using a 125g tank that my other fish were in. What is the safe number of 2 inch discus to add at one time? ( I will be adjusting the tank parameters to suit the Discus prior to purchase, so they are not going into a brand new tank) and it will be a Discus only tank.

If you base on 1″ to one gallon of fish. Two inch of fish you can keep 60 fish. Three inch of fish you can keep 40 fish. And so on….The above is the maximum number of fish you can keep. Of course you can reduce the numbers to provide them more comfortable environment. They will grow faster and less problem.
