How to save the eggs?

Written by allan on . Posted in Breeding

We have an aquarium with 5 discus and 2 mouth sucking fishes. We just find out that the are 2 mated discus, they start to lay eggs on a drift wood we put in the middle of the aquarium. Our Question:
Can we leave them like that? If not, what would be the best way to separate them?

Reply:
1. You have no way but to leave them in the tank.
2. If you can remove the driftwood, then you can remove the fish together with the driftwood to another tank.
3. Otherwise, you remove them after this round.
