i would like to start breeding discus. Supposing i haveone breeding pair what size of tank would be ideal. Please give measurements in length and breadth . Please also tell me if i can keep the tank with a sponge filter, and remove the waste by siphoning. Is there anyother method which i can follow?

This measurement is ideal for breeding. If you keep sponge filter, you will have problems with the fry. It is ideal to use bare tank
